The Story of Fastin
(a Hunter)
Long before the Blood
Elfs lost the Sunwell, there lived a great paladin named Kantheda,
who was a blood elf. Kantheda had fallen in love with a tauren named
Mahahlem, he was a great druid of Thunder Bluff. Sadly ,when the
scourge invasions started and the Sunwell was lost, Kantheda and
Mahahlem fled to Silvermoon. Since they got married, they wanted a
kid, but since they were not from the same race they could not. So
they decided to adopt one, a little blood elf boy. Kantheda wanted
to name him Salfaster (Her grand fathers name), but Mahahlem wanted
to name him Mahalin. After many weeks of trying to find a name they
both liked, they decided to fuse the two names together and
they created Fastin.
Fastin grew up as a
hunter, but not just any hunter. He was a ferocious warrior when it
came to life or death situations. This side came from his mother. He
also had a sensible side. He had a passion for animals. He would
not tolerate any cruelty to them and always protected them. This
side came from his father.
Sadly, one night while
Fastin and Mahahlem were out fishing, away from home, some alliance
raiders went in their home, while Kantheda was alone. It was a
great battle, as Kantheda fought them, but she was out numbered and
was finally subdued. She was taken prisoner to Stormwind for
questioning. After what seemed to be millions of questions,
all of which Kantheda refused to answer, the highlord Bolvar
Fordragon ordered her execution.
When Fastin learned of
his mother's death, he swore to take his revenge on the Alliance.
His father was growing old and he filed with sorrow. Fastin
swore that before he died he would kill every single leader in the
Alliance and make them pay.
Therefore, Fastin grew
up as a great hunter. He swore to obey the Horde and never
betray his allies. Many battles he has fought with his pets
along his side in Warsong Gultch and Arathi Basin to defeat the
Alliance, and many battles he has won.
Every day Fastin grows
stronger and stronger and his pets do too.
Fastin's pets:
Fastin has had many pets
in his life. The first one was Snugglepaw. This was a Eversong Woods
lynx. After many years of searching for a new pet, he found Sushi,
who in reality was Dishu the rare Barrens cat. Fastin had a great
bond with all of his pets but he told himself that if he ever wants
to bring the Alliance down he must find a stronger pet. After
searching the world for a pet that he knew would serve him well,
finally one night while riding in Silverpine Forest, he saw a
injured wolf laying on the ground. After healing him, the wolf
served him like no other pet Fastin has had before. He was named
Howler since every night he howls at the moon to remember the night
when he was saved.
