 The Story of Kalker

(June 11, 2010)

Hi my name is Kalker,  I was named after my father.  I was born in Camp Taurajo with a twin Sister named Shraw.  I have no clue where she is right now.  My mom died from a pack of wolves while she was doing her dailies to keep the family going, and my Dad was a heroic Death Knight who died fighting.  He wanted to Defeat the Lich King but failed. His body was sent back... well, what was left of my father's body.

Now I'm out to avenge my father and to massacre the Lich King. If anyone opposes my message, they too shall die.

Kalker became Kalastarian after he changed races from Tauren to Blood Elf
(July 11, 2010)

There lived in the City of Silvermoon, a very misfortunate family of blood elves who farmed all day and night in Eversong Forest just to put food on the table.

King Lor'themar Theron (aka The King of Silvermoon City) had his collectors to go around to each farm in the neighborhood and take 1/3 of all the crops.  Every year this was done around June 10th.

Kalastarian, a Death Knight, was the son of Lilifil.  He was a hard worker and very strong, always working hard doing everything his mom asked him to do, but his brother Xandu was a very weak Hunter.

Xandu had been named after his father, and he was a lot like him.  He was always the lazy and aggressive one.  He never wanted to train in any of his profession.  I don’t know how he survived to reach his 55 level without a full axe skill.

My mom was struggling with the farm and I was always exhausted because Xandu was never around.  He would always left early in the morning so that he could skip working around the farm.  I don’t know why we let him back every time after he would leave.

One time, he was gone for a couple weeks, and one morning I overslept. I woke up at 8:30 instead of my usual 7:30.  I went into my mom’s room and whispered to her why aren’t we working? She didn’t reply. I nudged her once or twice. Her body lay motionless.  That was when I realized that she wasn’t simply sleeping.

I lay down beside her on the bed that whole day. I was so depressed because I was loosing my mother.  I kept thinking. “What will I tell Xandu when he comes back from where ever he is?”

Finally, the sun was going down and I knew I had to get up. I couldn’t stay there by my dead mother any longer.  It was time to make arrangements for her burial.

That was when I heard the door open. I got up and saw my brother, Xandu there.  I ran to him and hugged him tightly and then told him about how I had found our mother that morning, that she had passed away.

Xandu didn’t believe me. He went to look in my mother’s room.  He stopped at the door when he saw her there on the bed.  He turned and ran out the door.

The next morning he came back as I was digging her grave, to lay her to rest beside our dead father.  Xandu just stood there and hung his head.

Later, I took Xandu inside the house and led him to his bed and he layed down and went to sleep.  I went around and packed up all of my belongings, and then went and got Xandu’s knapsack and gathered up his belongings in it for him, before I lay down to sleep.  I knew that it was time for Xandu and me to move out into the world.

Xandu and I travelled into Silvermoon City and went through the portal there to Undercity.  It was the first time we had done that.

When we got to Undercity, we were surprised to see all of the Undead there.  We had never seen any Undead before.

From Undercity we took the Zeppelin to Orgrimmar in the Barrens.

When we got off the Zeppelin, Xandu dropped his bag by accident and a kind Warlock Orc stopped and picked up Xandu’s bag and handed it to him. We thanked him and he offered to give us a tour around Orgrimmar.  We were grateful for his offer and both said YES.  He told us his name was “Wartard” and that he was the finest warlock around. He showed us everything in Orgrimmar and asked us if we planned to stay in Orgrimmar.  He told us he lived there and he liked it there.  We decided to stay because we liked what we saw there and we had become friends with Wartard.

Wartard, Xandu and I often went out together and did dungeons together, all the way up to the level 60, but then one day he just disappeared.  A couple of weeks later, his body was found along with his wind rider, in the hills outside the Crossroads. It was too gruesome to look at, the guards at the Crossroads wouldn’t let us see him.

The guards told us he died because he was flying really high in the sky while intoxicated and he dismounted by accident and fell for 30 seconds to his death.

It affected me, but it really hit Xandu hard.  He stopped eating. He stopped doing stuff. He just sat there, doing nothing.  I knew I could do nothing more for my brother, and I couldn’t stay there doing nothing. So one day I went to Xandu and told him that I needed to go out and see the world and I asked him to come with me.  He refused, saying he just wanted to stay there in Orgrimmar.  So I packed my bag and left him there.

I took the zeppelin to the Outlands and started questing there.  Two weeks later I went to Shattrath City to take the portal back to Orgrimmar.  I wanted to visit my brother, to make sure he was alright, and then go to Northrend.

I got to Orgrimmar and visited with my brother for a few days. He was happy in Orgrimmar and was satisfied to stay there. Two days later, I told him I was headed to Northrend. We hugged and I left.

As I was walking towards the zeppelins that would take me to Northrend, I saw a beautiful blood elf woman walking in front of me.  She was walking towards the zeppelins too.  I couldn’t help myself. I walked up to her and started talking to her. I asked her where did she think I should go to first when I got to Northend and she said, “Go to Howling Fjord. You will like it there.” I thanked her and bowed.  In a very soft voice she asked me if I would like some water and food.  She said she had a lot of extra and it would be nice to share it with me.  So I agreed to accept some of it.  She gave me water and fish that she had cooked herself.  It was the most amazing fish I had ever tasted.

She and I stayed together all the way to Nortrend, talking. When we got there, she invited me to group with her and three others who she knew.  I finally asked her what her name was and she told me “It’s Laara” and she introduced me to her friend.  They were Lifecrave, Metalwolf and Thorevalda.  They were such nice people and that day they recruited me to their guild.  It was called Aeturnum Arcanum, and I was happy to join.

Now, we do a lot of things together as guildies.  Every weekend we do all kinds of dungeons and we have started raiding.  We went to Naxxaramas and, although I wasn’t able to go with them, I heard that they just went to Ulduar and killed that dragon this last week.  I love spending time with the guildies.

Now I’m trying to get Xandu to start doing some stuff, but still yet he barely wants to do anything.  So now I just relax, have fun and hang out with my guildies.
