Former cook and quartermaster for an elite group of Warrior Poets, his name comes from jokes about his cooking. 

 Pestilence was present at their demise. Though a warrior of much lesser ability than those he served, he took up arms and stood with them, and fell with the rest. His body was collected with theirs and raised as a Death Knight.  Arrogance and battle rage served him well, and he survived this dark period.

Now he wanders the Outlands, seeking details of his past, seeking to redeem himself, and deeply grateful to be a free man.  He is full of regret and self-loathing, but works to keep this in check, as he considers them weak emotions.

He takes pleasure in tinkering with and making things, and studies to be an engineer.  His true desire, however, is to rise up and become a Warrior Poet.  He wants to reclaim the name of the troop with whom he fell, a group known as the “Pale Ones”. His poetry needs work.
