The Story of Velindal
September 2, 2010 - level 1 - just after she joined the Guild

The Trip to Meet Velindal
(Sept 2, 2010)
It was a warm night and QUeen Laara had just returned to The Filthy Animal in Dalaran for a bite to eat when Valindar came to her and told her about his girlfriend who had just moved to Wyrmrest Accord and was living just outside Silvermoon City. He said, "My Queen, she is a blood elf priest as she wants to one day heal and, at the moment, she is only level 1, but she is a beauty. I think you will like her. Her name is Velindal." He then asked Queen Laara if it would be alright for her to become a member of our guild. "Of course" was Queen Laara's reply, "Let's go see her! But first I have some stops to make along the way." and Queen Laara immediately joined party with Valindar and Velindal (who were already in party together).
Before they got very far, Malandra got wind of the trek and asked if he could join the group and come along and he was invited. Within minutes, Talanan (Thorevalda) came along and said he wanted to join up with the group and go meet Velindal too, and so he too was invited to the party.
On the way there, Qeen Laara made a stop at the shop of the great tabard makers in Silvermoon City to say hello to her friends there and picked up a guild tabard for Velindal. A gift. And then there was a short trip to the auction house for bags, but the bags there were no good on this night, so it was off to the bag vendor outside the city. Queen Laara knew he would have what she needed.
Finally, everything was in Queen Laara's bag that she had to give to Velindal that night, and the four of them set out to meet her.
Being mounted helped everyone travel faster and it was a pleasure to ride through the warm evening together.

Upon reaching Velindal, after waving and greeting each other, everyone went up to Velindal to have a look at her. She was tall and slender with dark brown hair and green eyes. Queen Laara agreed with what Valindar had told her. Velindal was a beauty.
Queen Laara presented Velindal with the gifts and a small bag of gold to help her out. Then, after a short talk, everyone danced! It was much fun!
